Dr. Devin Brossard here. I was the picture of health - a fitness expert, a successful chiropractor, a marathon runner, a philanthropist, husband and dad. My life was a whirlwind of activity, yet fulfilling. Then, the pandemic hit. My focus shattered, replaced by anxiety and exhaustion. The 'me' who thrived on juggling it all was lost in a neuro-emotional fog.
Desperate for answers, I made a radical decision. I left everything behind: my board positions, my million-dollar business, even my familiar community. A year later, I find myself in the jungles of the Dominican Republic, not leading a retreat center, but offering free chiropractic care. Here, surrounded by nature, I read proverbs daily, regaining my mental clarity and energy. This journey became 'Fog to Fire,' a book detailing my escape from the fog and the path back to myself.
